  In almost twenty years in the ministry, we have dealt with many funeral homes. When my mother-in-law passed away, we entrusted Lakeview with her final arrangements, and found them to be unsurpassed in service and attention to detail! Bart listened carefully as we shared what we were looking for, and was so helpful in giving suggestions in line with our values, never using any sales pressure at all. He really cared, with the perfect balance of professionalism and heartfelt compassion. Lakeview made a very difficult time so much less painful. We heartily would recommend Lakeview Funeral Home to anyone!

  Bart and the staff at Lakeview funeral home were very empathetic and understanding. Unsurpassed integrity as my Uncle arrived with $500 in his wallet which Bart accounted for. From start to finish, Bart and staff were exceptional. Bart arranged for a 21 gun salute even though we couldnt find discharge papers for our medal of honor recipiant. If your looking for a funeral home in the Sandpoint area, this one is exceptional. The down side is you may feel compelled to have to stop and visit with Bart next time your in town!

  Bart Casey and the staff of Lakeview Funeral Home took such compassionate care of our whole family as we dealt with the recent passing of our son. Bart and Audrey were patient, kind and very informative. They made the excruciating process bearable. They addressed our concerns; and were quick to provide answers. I found them particularly helpful with some uncomfortable decisions that needed to be made. Their guidance and gentle approach made our time of making impossible choices less painful. They allowed us to have a service that was suited to our wishes. I highly recommend Lakeview if you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing of such services.

  We have experienced several deaths in our family recently. The year 2012 has been a very hard year to endure. On November 27th 2012, I lost my husband to a heart attack. Bart Casey, the owner was like an Angel sent from heaven. He was so kind, gentle, patient and understanding. Never a sense of pressure and let me ask questions of my own need. His kind and gentle demeanor was exactly what I needed to help me through one of the most difficult periods in my life.
  I recently lost my mother. We had to deal with a funeral home in Las Vegas Nevada. They were not attentive, nor were they consoling. I felt like we were in a production line. And money was the object and my mother was just another person to cremate. Bart makes you feel like you were the only one to suffer a loss. We need more people like him and his business in this world. Thank you Bart for the love, patience and understanding.

  I cannot express my gratitude enough for all the support and care they gave to me over the past 6 months since my husband died. Even though the service was at the VA in Helena, Montana you did everything. Thanks to you everything went so well I had nothing to do but show up.
  
  From the first visit to the last and everything in between you took care of everything and made an awful situation so much easier.
  
  It eases my mind knowing that my family will have the same experience with you when I go.
